Raised in Orange County, Maria began working for Concordia's old coffee shop, Emendare, in 2012. She is now known as the Energizer Bunny of Campus Safety. She enjoys community relations, education on preparedness, and is passionate about mentoring students. In her free time, she spends time outdoors, with family, traveling, and at baseball games.

Mom, Grandma, and New York transplant are Amy's identifiers.  Likes in no particular order: beach, books, road trips (when the 5 isn't a parking lot!), good food, good wine, and good conversation.

Brianna has worked for Concordia since 2017 in the Student Affairs Department. She graduated from Concordia in 2016 with a BA in Psychology and received an MA in Organizational Leadership in 2019. She looks forward to bringing a voice to our staff and supporting their needs.

Megan Feuerstein is an alumni of Concordia University Irvine. Graduating with her undergraduate degree in '16. Then going on to complete the MCAA in '19 as a Graduate Assistant at Concordia. She was on our softball team and part of our Student -Athlete Advisory Committee while earning a degree in Kinesiology during her undergraduate years. Following her Master's Degree she worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car for 2 years before finally coming back to Concordia.

Haley has worked full-time at Concordia in University Advancement since 2017. She graduated from CUI in 2014 with a BA in Communications and received an MBA in 2015. Haley is married to a fellow CUI Alum, Matthew Marrujo '12, MCAA '17, and has one son, Noah, who is 3 years old.

Rachel moved to OC from Wisconsin 3 years ago and loves every second of it. She quickly acclimated by developing a love for pressed juice, beach days, and wearing sweatshirts when it's 60 degrees. She has been with CUl for the last 2.5 years and couldn't be happier to serve here. She has been continuing her education at Concordia University Irvine and will graduate with her MBA in December 2023.

Mike is from Long Beach, the greatest city in the world. He's worked in a variety of areas of student life over his career, including Student Activities, Residence Life, Chapel Programs, and Academic Advising. He currently runs the student gym, intramurals, and CUI's outdoor rec trips. He also is obsessed with hot sauce.

Ghazal’s (G’s) favorite thing about Concordia is the friendly environment and the people.  Something people might not know about her is how crazy she is about tennis. If she could meet anyone in the world, she would choose a famous tennis player Maria Sharapova. Ghazal’s biggest heroes are her Dad and Mom who also dedicated their lives to tennis and have worked as tennis coaches for many years. In her free time, Ghazal likes watching TV shows, shopping, and spend time with friends.

Alex came to CUI in 2016 to join OIIE where he currently serves as Director of Academic Media Development. Although his responsibilities vary, his academic and research interests are focused on efficient use of media to support students in ways that weren’t available during his own undergraduate and graduate school education. 

Alex and his wife Jess live in San Juan Capistrano with their two children. When he can get the time, he enjoys freediving and spearfishing off the California and Baja coastlines.

Candice has worked for Concordia since 2020 in the Department of Campus Safety. She enjoys working with students and helping them grow professional skills they can carry throughout their careers.  Born and Raised in Long Beach California, she loves gardening, paddle boarding, golfing and traveling.

Justin has been working for Concordia since 2010 coming over from his previous profession as a landscape architect. He's married with two children. In his free time he enjoys raising his flock of 20+ chickens, goats and sheep.
